It was still the same game I devoted the last year of my life to, but it doesn't make me giggle anymore.
Are you 100! yet? 110? You feel accomplished?
There are other games. I've actually took time to do TLOU, Infinite and will start Dead Space 3 bought on the cheap a few days ago. Check in from time to time, but there is not point in forcing yourself.

Throughput =/= latency. Haven't seen fitting glitch in months.
Charlotte O'Dell wrote:However, I think the biggest problem for me was that I lost the drive. I have a good 300,000,000 ISK, 30,000,000 SP, and nothing to really work for. I have everything prototype and spending 1,250,000 SP just to have 3% higher damage doesn't seem worth it to me. It's the grind. It got to me. I feel that the entire skill system is wrong.
Nope. First of all you don't have everything proto. I'm 30M SP/300M ISK and I've got two proto suits, one advanced suit, two or three proto weapons and maxed out core skills.
Charlotte O'Dell wrote:I'd like it better if I could log on every day and spend a small amount of SP for a very small bonus to something...ANYTHING. Literally everything you do should have an associated skill. And multipliers should not work as they do to calculate SP costs. There should be 100 levels possible for every skill. On a lower tier skill, costs could be 15,000 SP/lvl, so to max a skill is 1,500,000 SP. The bonus would be small, but it'd make me feel better logging on and putting that hours worth of grind into SOMETHING. Then every increment of 20 points in a skill, or 33, or whatever, a certain new item of that type is made available in a different tier...Or maybe get rid of tiers altogether and have the power of an item come from the SP you put in it (tiercide).
Blah blah blah clone battlefield blah. Well yeah, that would completely STOP the GRIND that you started your argument with. LOL.
Charlotte O'Dell wrote:Anyway, I'm sick of the grind and if there MUST be a grind, I'd like it to feel more...like Candycrush.
BB.
And when you grow a pair try skilling into scout or heavy and having fun again. I went proto Gal scout and I literally run 11k ISK Dragonfly scout 99% of the time. Two weapons I've got proficiency in, remote explosive and voila. Instant fun. Hell, when I get bored I run it with BPO SMG only.
And if I don't have fun I play other games. Because that's what not being a tryhard means.
SL dumbfire, DS bumpercars, Scout beast-mode. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time.. to die.
